I phoned the client today to discuss the progress and to inform him that I am currently in the process of the research. I also asked if the client wanted me to create a new logo, for both the website and for some t-shirts for him to use whilst at work. He suggested I take a look at the logo for www.clickdriving.net, and he stated that he likes the car because it is a trademark that will be recognised by potential clients.
I looked at the logo and really like it, but i did not want to 'rip' there logo of, so i contacted the client and said that it looked good but i did not want to copy what they have done, so he suggested that i could create the front of the Citroen DS3 in a similar way.
I tried this idea out using Adobe Illustrator and started tracing over the car, but then Andrea Errington said that it may not look as good as the client had in mind. So with this constructive criticism in mind i researched a lot of other local driving school logos, and came across 3 other logos that i was attracted to:
So using all of these logo designs, i produced a logo and emailed it to the client in which i responded really positively:
